Our Mission
The purpose and objectives of this church shall be as follows:
- Section
I
- Salvation of
souls
- The meeting
together of believers for Godly
worship and fellowship
- The teaching
of the Word of God for the
edification of the saints
- The sending
forth of the Gospel for world
evangelization
- Establishing
a testimony to the historic
Christian faith in opposition to modernism, the ecumenical movement,
neo-orthodoxy, neo-evangelism, and worldliness
- We oppose
the modern day charismatic
movement as unbiblical, a counterfeit of true Christianity, a catalyst
for the formation of the one world church of the antichrist; and
furthermore, denounce the practice of ecstatic speech called 'unknown
tongues' as unscriptural for today, deceptive, and completely unrelated
to the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of Truth (1 John 4:1; 1 Cor. 13:8;
1 Tim. 4:1).

II
- To ordain
men who qualify by the standards
set forth in the Word of God and in accordance with the Charter and
By-Laws of this church.
- Section
III
- To establish
New Testament churches, and
until they are indigenous, they shall fall under the authority of this
local church and shall have the same rights and privileges by law.
- Section
IV
- To purchase,
own, sell, hold, lease, rent,
mortgage, encumber real and personal property, construct buildings,
churches, borrow money, and issue notes, bonds or debentures.
Therefore, to establish individual or specific trust for purposes
consistent with those articles of associations, and in harmony with the
Scriptures, carry on Christian missionary or charitable work of the
church.
